YOU can now buy Ferrero Rocher mini eggs in two flavours in time for Easter – and both sound delicious.
Perfect for fans of the gold foil-wrapped chocs, the mini eggs either have a cocoa or hazelnut chocolate filling
The treats, which come in bags of 10, have a runny chocolate centre surrounded by wafer and more chocolate.
The cocoa flavour has a more milk chocolatey flavour, while the hazelnut version uses darker chocolate and contains more nuts.
But nut allergy sufferers beware as both treats contain hazelnuts.
The packs are on sale at Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose but they’re cheapest at Tesco at £2 a pack.
Waitrose sells the bags for £2.49, while Sainsbury’s prices them at £2.50.
Fans are very excited about the new treats.
A post about the mini eggs on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group attracted more than 4,400 likes and 2,500 comments.
Unsurprisingly, the treats are pretty calorific with 561 calories in a bag of Ferrero Eggs Cococa and 570 calories in a bag of Ferrero Eggs Hazelnut.
But it is Easter after all, which is traditionally a time for stuffing your face with choc.
For Ferrero die-hards, there are lots of other nutty chocolate goodies on supermarket shelves for Easter.
Tesco sells three types of Ferrero Rocher Easter egg ranging between £8 and £15.
Meanwhile Asda is selling a 90g Ferrero Rocher tin shaped like a squirrel for £2.50.
There are loads of exciting new Easter sweet treats on supermarket shelves this year, including a glittery pineapple “egg” at Morrisons.
You’ll love or hate a Marmite-flavoured Easter egg on sale at Asda this year.
Tesco has slashed the price of Easter eggs to 75p and we reveal where you can buy these seasonal goodies for the cheapest.
