Future Generali India Insurance appoints Ramit Goyal as chief distribution officer



Future Generali India Insurance Co (FGII) has elevated Ramit Goyal as its chief distribution officer with effect from April 1.

Goyal takes over from Raghavendra Rao, who superannuated on March 31 after 14 years of service, the company said in a statement.

Goyal has 25 years of experience in sales, including more than a decade with Future Generali India Insurance.

“Goyal has a track record of excelling in rapidly changing environments, consistently delivering on organisational mandates across various geographies and verticals and relationships,” the company said.

Anup Rau, managing director, Future Generali India Insurance, said, “Having effectively managed multiple roles at FGII to meet the company’s requirements, Goyal has been and will always be our go-to trouble-shooter.”

Earlier, Goyal held key roles in other companies including Tata AIG, Godrej & Boyce and Daewoo Anchor Electronics, according to the statement.
